Wend-Al figures were manufactured from about
1949 to about 1956.
They were not the usual lead hollow-cast, but
were made aluminium.
The Knight produces had a Timpo look. They were
either copies or produced under license.
I have come across one horse and knight design
and three standing figures. All the figures are found in either a chrome
finish or various painted designs. The mounted knight is equipped with a
wooden lance .This is usually missing from single figures, but can be
seen or the still carded displays.The shield design is stuck on printed
paper.
They were supplied on a card with attractive
heraldic designs.
