Gustave Vertunni mainly lived and worked in Paris until his death in 1955. The lead figures range from 54mm to 58mm in scale, either solid or hollow-cast. I think the first thing I noticed about  Vertunni figure's was the wonderful paint finish, a deep soft delicate sheen, I believe he used car paint.
