Timpo US Army men 1950-55

Approximately 33 different US Army and Navy figures were issued. figures are without doubt some of the best 1950's lead soldiers. Designed by Roy Selwyn Smith all showing his modeling flair. The black GI's were only a small percentage of overall production so are difficult to find.

Sold as individual figures or as boxed sets of either 6

Very hard to find are Army Camp Units. Two or three figure sewn onto a coloured platform depicting a small battle scene. Platform is sized about 4 X 6 inches showing a mortar unit, defense post, fatigue party, casualty station, first aid post and attacking patrol. These scenes also in included barbed wire , oil drums etc to add to the battle scene effect.
