| Between Greenhill and the Mosham Meadow on my map
is the Obelisk which is in the grounds of Abbey Manor. The area is
surrounded by private land, but there is a public foot path via The
Squires to this Simon de Montfort monument.
The base has is surrounded with carvings and description of the
battle. The Obelisk was erected to pin point the spot of Simon de Montfort's
death but that's open to debate. |

| In the private Abbey Manor grounds there are
many stones from the Evesham Abbey which in some instances are laid out
as they would have been. |
