Lone Star Knight of the Round Table

Lone Star Knight of the Round Table Lone Star Die-casting Tools Ltd, Palmers Green, London Founded by A R Mills & S H Ambridge producing toy soldiers from 1953 till 1970 under the trade name Lone Star. After this period marketing was taken over by Crescent Toys. This arrangement ended in 1980 with Die-cast machine Tools buying Crescent Toys, but this failed with the company going bankrupt in 1983.

The Company was again relaunched under the name of Lone Star Toys Ltd

Solid unpainted metal Knights of the Round Table,6 in set produced about 1981 

These figures are a usual grey colour, but I have come across them in a bright gold.

They are scarce to find on their backings, but the name of the Knight is also on a small rock by their feet, if you find them loose.
