Knights of Avalon

Reynolds Products

H. R. Products of London, also known as Reynolds produced some of the best hollow-cast models in the early 50's. It is no surprise to discover they employed Norman Tooth as designer. Mr. Tooth was responsible for much of the design work on the Timpo models.

H & R were the initials of the founders son Harry Reynolds. Sadly John Zanger's company was only in existence from 1951 for a few years.

They produced few models, but now they are very sought after, due to their fine quality.

The Viking series is seen below, sold in sets or as boxed singles.

Their other notable series was Treasure Island, 5 famous pirates from history and novels.

You can see 4 models from this series HERE

Roman centurion. I believe there were two Romans produced. The other figure has a cape and his arm is lower.
