Peter
Greenhill’s and Mario Venturi’s
new book " Creating Miniature knights " I think its
magnificent.
The book gives great insight into the depth of
research that goes into producing such wonderfully accurate model
knights. It explores the world of Heraldry and Crests and how these were
very important in battle, about the unwritten law of " class to
class" warfare.
This book is full of pictures of model knights, but
is also full of written facts about the knights war.
The coverage of the battles of Crecy, Poitiers and Agincourt
in diorama and the discussion on armour, heraldry is
excellent. The printing and design are the same excellent quality as
their previous books "Heraldic Miniature Knights" and "Montaperti la battagfia nef diorama"
