Bedivere- One of the earliest
knights to join the round table, Bedivere only had one hand. As with many of the
characters in the King Arthur Legends, his role changes, depending on the
author. His character has gone through
many transformations, ranging from being
one of Arthur’s right-hand men, to replacing Lancelot as Guinevere’s lover,
to being the last survivor of Arthur’s last battle and returning Excalibur to
the Lady of the Lake.
