Agravaine- The brother of
Gawaine and Gareth, and son of Arthur’s sister, Morgause. He learns of the love
affair between Lancelot and Guinevere. Lancelot kills him either when Agravaine
discovers the lovers or when Lancelot rescues Guinevere, depending on the author’s
interpretation.
